Heritage data is not merely content waiting to be uploaded. Some knowledge is communal, seasonal, restricted, sacred, dangerous to expose, or simply not yours to publish. This section treats stewardship as a design requirement. It asks who decides, who benefits, what should remain imprecise, and what happens to a map after the launch snacks are gone.
